I have noticed that when I get super stressed, I can make my life so much happier by stopping and treating myself to a little something. I don't know if you're the same way, but I get so wrapped up in work and taking care of our home that I forget to take care of myself sometimes. I am guilty of saying that I'm too busy to get to bed on time, or eat a healthy lunch, or even stop and take a sip of water (me and water have a lifelong struggle together). I'm sure half the world is guilty of saying that we don't have time for things, but that is not true, there is always time! I myself find that hard to believe sometimes.
One of my ways to treat myself is through delicious food of course! Today I had the day off of work and instead of just staying at home, sleeping in until noon, and then continuing my current season of Downton Abbey, I decided to practice photography and treat myself to my favorite donut: the red velvet chocolate cake donut from the Provo Bakery (which is conveniently two blocks away from our apartment). Gosh this donut is delicious! As mentioned in another post, I get really hooked on certain foods and this donut happens to be one of my obsessions. Get one if you're ever in the neighborhood, you won't be disappointed!
