Olive Garden Breadsticks
Ohhh yea, it's breadstick time.  Now, I'm sure a lot of you out there have been to Olive Garden, and I think you know where I'm going with this... Those unlimited breadsticks and salad are to die for!!  Just picture yourself biting into one of the breadsticks.  It's garlicky, covered in butter, and most importantly, super fluffy.  Jordan and I ate at Olive Garden a couple years ago and became obsessed with finding the perfect breadstick recipe that could hopefully be compared to Olive Garden's.  I mean who wouldn't want to know how to make homemade breadsticks?  We came home from church one Sunday and began the research.  We found this recipe that was on a cooking segment on a news show, and we believe it is THE one!  It is so close to their breadsticks that we have to share!  

Ingredients:
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon yeast
1 cup + 1 tablespoon warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, softened


Directions:
Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water.  Let sit for 5 minutes or until foamy.  Combine flour and salt in mixer.  Use paddle attachment to mix softened butter in flour.  Then pour yeast mixture and knead for 10 minutes.  Sit for 1 - 1 1/2 hours in warm place, covered.  Roll into breadsticks.  Then let sit for another 1- 1 1/2 hours.  Heat oven 400 degrees F and cook for 12 minutes.  Try not to eat them all in one sitting!
