One word that brings SO many different thoughts into our minds.
Christ, egg hunts, resurrection, bunnies, chocolate, etc... It's so funny to me how one word can mean so many different things all in one day!
Fortunate for us, we got to spend Easter with both of our families. We went over to Jordan's sister's house and had an Easter egg hunt with our adorable little niece and nephew, dyed eggs, and just enjoyed each other's company while listening to conference. It was so fun to watch our niece while Jordan's sister and husband hid the eggs in the backyard. We had to keep telling her "no peeking, no peeking! It's a surprise!" She was just so excited she couldn't help but look through the window and try and see where they were hiding the eggs. I'll admit, I was probably a little too excited for my age to participate in the Easter egg hunt. Oh well!
Later that evening we went home and were able to have dinner with my brother, sister, and her boyfriend. I love being able to cook for my family and help make holidays away from home a little more special. It makes me take the role of being a sister a bit more seriously.
